Who are we?
Established in 1972, the Blooming Grove Day Care Center, Inc., is a private, non-profit New York State licensed service providing quality childcare for children ages six weeks to eight years. The center is open from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, 52 weeks per year.
Our programs offer hands-on activity-centered projects introducing children to basic learning concepts and skills. Staff personnel are chosen primarily for their ability to relate to and work well with young children. Careful interviewing and strict screening ensure the highest quality staff. The executive director administers and supervises programs. The head teacher, together with lead teachers and executive director, meet to develop a program that promotes social, emotional and physical development through a caring, loving, and nurturing environment.
We often have special visitors, activities, and special events for fun and learning. Parents are invited to share these times with us.
The Center is financially supported by parent fees, fundraisers, donations, Orange County United Way, and the New York State Department of Health.
Enrollment at the Center is open to all children and is nondenominational.
Programs Offered
Baby Roomfor infants as young as six weeks up to 18 months.
Toddlersfor children 18 months to 2 1/2 years old.
Young Sproutsfor children aged 2 to 3 1/2 years.
Preschoolfor children ages 3 to 4 years.
PreKfor children aged 4 to 5 years.
Kindergarten CareWe accommodate children attending morning and afternoon kindergarten.
Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are provided. All menus are approved by the New York State Dept. of Health and are posted on the bulletin board.
